European Premium Cabins Warranty

Please be aware we do not offer any warranty of any kind on cabins we do not build. The majority of our cabins are built by homeowners or builders, who have a large range of skills and expertise. As we have no oversight of the build process in these cases there is no way to know it has been built either, correctly or to a reasonable standard. Even good quality products like our cabins, built poorly or incorrectly will fail in NZ weather conditions. If you are building your own cabin, please call us during the process if you have any questions as it will save you time and money in the long run.

 

European Premium Cabins offer a 10-year warranty on roofing iron, fastenings and Nurajacks (piles). This warranty is for the products only and aligns with the manufactures guarantee. It does not guarantee weather tightness or a level building platform as this will be determined by the quality of the installation.

 

To ensure water tightness silicone needs to be applied in the centre groove of each board during construction, the product to be used is ‘Selleys Wet Area Silicone Sealant’. The timber is untreated and needs to be sealed with ‘Monocel Gold Exterior Clear Varnish’ post staining or pre painting. This needs to be maintained over time to prevent against mould, fungus and rotting.

 

The timber is manufactured to a high standard, but non the less is in its natural state. There is no actual nor implied warranty to its longevity, water tightness nor any other aspect.
